Definition of Technology Licensing
Refers to transferring or performing to person wishing to perform right or technology acquired from research and
development, and technology licensing comprehensively includes transfer of right, licensing and transfer of know-how.
Target and Form of Technology Licensing
- Targets of technology licensing include patent, utility model, trademark, design, literary work, computer program,
database, semi-conductor integrated circuit layout design, etc. - In particular, for universities, research know-how, thesis, research intermediate outcome, chemical compound,
microorganism, molecular structure, program, result report, research personnel or research equipment can be the target
of technology licensing.
